By now, you've probably heard that Nats minor leaguers Steven Souza and J.R. Higley of Class A Hagerstown were suspended 50 games each for testing positive for PEDs:
Both tested positive for methylphenidate and ritalinic acid - commonly known as Ritalin, a drug used to treat ADHD that can increase focus and energy level. (via Nationals Journal, 7/15/2010)
Ben Goessling caught up with Higley's agent, who says it's all a big mistake; something about taking a one-time dose of an ADHD medication he wasn't approved to take. Guess Souza made the same mistake?
Anyway, before we move along, the video above supposedly shows Nats' 2007 third round draft pick Souza in a breakdancing showdown against Woolie, the mascot of the Hagerstown Suns, at a "Meet the Suns" event back in 2009. Looks like Woolie won.
