(Photo of TV/MASN by Nationals Enquirer staff. Adam Dunn takes one for the team to force in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning. There's something funny about the placement of that Friday Night Fireworks explosion in this screen shot.)
"We would've lost this game last year...It seems like we're finding ways to win close games that last year, and in the past, we would've lost."

Nationals 5, Marlins 4: Yes, exactly the sort of game the Nationals of years past would've lost.
Hit by Pitch Parade! Matt Chico starts the game by plunking Cameron Maybin with first pitch; Adam Dunn drives in game winning run in the eighth by getting plunked with the bases loaded, scoring Ian Desmond...who reached base after getting plunked to start the inning.
Nationals reward Matt Chico for his surprisingly good performance with a bus ticket back to Harrisburg. Thank you, Matt Chico.
Clip n' Save: Clipp got clipped, then rights the ship; things got dicey in the 9th for Capps, but he grabbed save #12 anyway.
And no, Brian Bruney did not throw out the ceremonial first pitch for Pups in the Park day Saturday at Nationals Park.

I like the fireworks ad behind Dunn for oh so many reasons 1) It looks like the explosion is coming out of his butt, 2) it looks like fun sparkly thing on top of the pitcher's hat, and 3) it works perfectly with the HBP.
PS: Every time I come to the site I get the ads for reducing belly fat. What are you trying to say to me??
