Dan Steinberg reports that Nationals ratings are soaring on MASN. Congratulations on the good news, Mr. Angelos!
More Good news! MASN will televise Stephen Strasburg's second triple-A start tonight! Thank you, Mr. Angelos!
Bad news! It's on tape delay, despite the Nationals playing the Mets this afternoon at 1, and the Syracuse Chiefs-Norfolk Tides game starting at 7. Why, Mr. Angelos, why? Well, Nationals fans hoping to watch Baseball Jesus will have to wait it out while Mr. Angelos's Orioles play the Mariners starting at 7PM on MASN, that's why.
Good news! MASN2 will be airing nothing but ESPN News from 7PM until approximately 10:30PM, so Nationals fans will at least have something to keep them occupied while waiting for Strasburg.
Congratulations, and thank you, Mr. Angelos.

To be fair, the Norfolk Tides are an Orioles affiliate, so Angelos wants O's fans to be able to watch both. In reality, of course, no one will be tuning in for the Tides...
For what it's worth, the game will be aired LIVE on milb.tv via TWCS. There wasn't a blackout last week, though the quality isn't too great. Still, hard to beat the price: $6.95/month for all the minor league games you wish to watch.

Fair? Since when do we care about being fair around here, cass? :)
We happily settled for the live look-ins on MLB Network, which had the added benefit of blocking the commentary from the Syracuse TV guys. Watched on tape delay later...
