VOTE ZIMMERMAN.
Okay, so what if our Call to Arms for Ryan Zimmerman two weeks ago failed miserably? You have one more chance to Vote Yes on Zim, one of five nominees in the NL for the 2010 All-Star Game Final Vote. So go here and do it, okay? Voting ends Thursday, July 8 at 4:00 p.m. ET.
Speaking of good causes, the Nationals have teamed up with the USO for a great one, called "Me and a Friend". We're a few days late in mentioning it (it launched on July 4th), but the program is designed to help military kids, especially those who have a parent deployed, connect with their peers as they move from place-to-place with their families. Go here to read the official release from the team to learn more. Good stuff from the Nats and the DC-area USO.

What does it say that I am sad that I have tickets for tonight's game because it means that I can't sit at home and vote for Zim over and over again? It seems so wrong to be doing anything today (like, my actual job) instead of voting for Zimmerman all day. During the paper ballot days, I would sit at home and punch those for Zimmerman (and Dunn, and Willingham, and Pudge).
