The Grimace Heard 'Round the World
Stephen Strasburg was pulled from Saturday night's start against the Phillies in the fifth inning after throwing a pitch, looking at his arm, shaking his arm, and then grimacing.
It didn't look good on TV.
The word after the game reported by Ben Goessling, Mark Zuckerman, etc. is that the problem is a strained flexor tendon in Strasburg's right forearm. MRI on Sunday in Washington.
Have no idea what a strained flexor tendon means, but we don't suggest you google "flexor tendon strain pitcher" etc.. A single word comes to mind: F_ _k. Fill in the blanks. And no, not Fick.
