Still waiting.
Ross Detwiler had surgery Monday to fix a torn hip flexor (sounds painful!); Mark Zuckerman has all the gory details over at Nats Insider:
The Nats have now confirmed Detwiler's surgery and say he is scheduled to begin a throwing program in six weeks and "should be able to return to competitive pitching in three months." The procedure was performed Monday in Vail, Colo., by Marc J. Phillippon. (via Nats Insider, 2/18/2010)
Great. Man down, and pitchers and catchers only officially report to Viera tomorrow. Who's next? No wait, don't answer that. We know what you're about to say.
But look on the bright side, NatsTown, there's always Matt Chico; he's feeling better than 2004!
"I feel better arm-wise than I have since my first spring training in 2004. After that it kind of went down hill."

Of course you do, Matt. Of course you do.
